EREAFSN is constantly looking into the latest research regarding skills and training for our young people so they can transition from our Flexible Learning centres. Here are some documents from other organisations and industries which help inform how we prepare our young people.
Much research has gone into how Young People will engage with work and study into the future. A great resource for our schools and young people is the Foundation for Young Australians.
FYA’s research is focussed on preparing young people and those who work with them to understand how work is changing and build the skills needed to navigate the future. The great thing about FYA is that they collaborate with young people, education and industry experts to put research into action to help solve some of the biggest challenges young people are facing. Often our young people are unsure of how to navigate Year 13 and understanding what lays beyond flexi school. Here is a great research paper prepared by Year 13.
