Youth+ is the arm of EREA that supports young people’s re-engagement in education for positive life futures.
EREA Flexible Schools Networks currently operates 19 flexible learning centres, each a registered school, around Australia. They provide a place and an opportunity to re-engage with learning and community. Flexible learning centres operate on a common ground basis where young people are empowered to determine their own pathways.
Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) was established in 2007 to govern and manage the schools established and governed by the Christian Brothers in Australia from 1871 to 2007. EREA now governs 53 schools, covering all states and territories of Australia and enrolling over 38000 students.
The Youth+ Foundation was established in 2015 to attract funds to support the work of Youth+ in providing educational opportunities to disenfranchised youth.
